McLean’s masterpiece

Tom Doody middle-age American living in New Jersey near the Lincoln Tunnel << Fresh in my youtube channel is a Don McLean American pie vid of his lyrics in my voice. I heard La Bamba by the late Ritchie Valens in Italy, and it trigged emotion . . in the week that followed I listened to all three of the early Rock stars who died together, and omw home I made a vid that ties together the lyrics of Don McLean American Pie and how the plane crash is now know as: the day the music died. OMG more emotion I never before felt the sadness in McLean’s masterpiece. Since my 1964 birth made me a little young to be fully emersed in the Rock music of the time I felt foolish to hear American Pie as a fun happy song, and now I hear the devastating sadness throughout especially at the end — the church bells all are broken.
