If I were on the flight crew or I somehow convinced authorities to give me the mic I would remind passengers who celebrated Adam’s exit that it is the authority of the captain to decide who remains on the flight. The captain does not need to explain himself or herself. He or she can select people to stay or go arbitrarily. The captain has no obligation to explain his or her actions. I would continue by saying Adam by his actions or inactions has made fellow passengers uncomfortable authorities will complete one additional clearance check on Adam. Provided Adam passes his additional clearance the captain will consider removing other passengers to assure a safe arrival. A moment ago a woman raised her hand over her head and insincerely called, “bye” to Adam, and if I had the authority of the captain that woman would be the first passenger I would have removed from the flight. In additional to seeking volunteers to leave the flight crew will pass through to consider making nominations to the captain. The captain has ultimate authority over this flight, and he or she is likely to follow the crews recommendations to have people removed.
