Hadza

middle-age American living in New Jersey near the Lincoln Tunnel << In my fresh reading of media tracing to studies of the Hadza Tribe of Tanzania it seems many media sources from traditional to recreational like mine and all in between people are trying to put these revolutionary findings in bit-sized pieces. Excerpts: ONE: Scientist says human evolution doesn’t guarantee a beach-ready bikini body TWO: Human brains take up an estimated 20 percent of our energy use per day THREE: You can’t exercise your way out of obesity FOUR: It’s one of those zombie ideas that refuses to die. Findings like the recent published media are not new, but it seems momentum is saying . . . this is significant and all people should know . . . now, which is why the Zombie phrase was used. The bikini body quote is a headline by a source trying to headline provocatively. The human brain burns a lot, so adding the other metabolic functions and digestion of food makes a high-calorie burn baseline, and exercise only adds a little burn to the body’s baseline. These studies trace in pop media back to 2012, and they validate many things I know about being active. It validates how exercise equipment gathers dust and is left for trash. This research seems to validate the predetermined path of home exercise equipment, because people choose the privacy of home mostly for weight loss, and research is saying this objective is a predetermined failure. >> Tom Doody
