middle-age American living in New Jersey near the Lincoln Tunnel << Ending in murder and a triple murder conviction justice was served reinforcing my confidence in the jury system. The same system has delivered verdicts I feel are bad, but it’s a system that can be defended against systems without “jury of our peers”. “Black” proved to be unnecessary qualification for the jury to imagine Ahmaud’s murder as a fellow human . . a peer. Some thoughts: ONE: many black jurors were dismissed making the loss of the attorneys who dismissed so many even sweeter TWO: the altercation and murder escalated to murder from a claim Ahmaud would not talk to them and would not cooperate. McMichael, McMichael, and Bryan felt they had the right to demand cooperation from Ahmaud, but Ahmaud had the right not to cooperate. McMichael’s, McMichael’s, and Bryan’s rights end where Ahmaud’s begins. THREE: “We don’t need anymore Black pastors,” said Kevin Gough . . Gough’s future should maybe . . I hope proves he’s not needed in the courtroom anymore FOUR: Laura Hogue in her closing argument claimed the dead body of Ahmaud had long dirty toe nails, which should set her to start a long losing streak FIVE: the murderers are convicted amen aleluya assalamualaikum mazel tov. >> Tom Doody
