smoker’ rights

Italians smoke without shame. The US is credited for bringing shame to smoking, and pushing smoke out of non-smoker’s faces, but it’s gone too far. I, with this text, am declaring myself an advocate of smoker’s rights, and as long as I’m at it: fat-people’s rights. Americans commonly shame fat people and smokers, and our fellow American deserve better. I’ve heard fat shamers and smoker shamers claim they care about the health of people who don’t seem to care about their own health by being fat or smoking or both, but it’s bull shit. If a suicidal person stands on the edge of a tall building, climbs a bridge, or holds a gun to his or her head immediate action should be taken by strangers, but if someone is accelerating to one’s own grave by bad habits they deserve a hands-off treatment by strangers. Italian smoke without shame.
