Martha’s memorial

middle-age American living in New Jersey near the Lincoln Tunnel «« What to wear to Martha’s memorial. Martha, my late mom, died in the early months of the pandemic, and her memorial service was delayed till this summer, and in an uncharacteristic way I began thinking early about what I should wear. I have no planning role, so I might as well put my attention on fashion, and I started with my nephew’s shoes. His shoes sit near me now where they’ve been since my doppio ebay purchase months ago. My next step was to get comments from Drew, David, and Kevin, and . . . well they made me work for it . . . and today I scored enough with Kevin’s public facebook comment, which puts me back in forward motion. Brogan has reason to be flattered that I started with him, but if one of my nieces married Harry Styles or Kanye one of these men would have been my first thought. IOW Brogan is the family token celebrity. I will take the same pic that’s been in front of Drew, David, and Kevin, and on photo paper send it to Brogan with a handwritten note packaged with the shoes. Maybe no text has had so much forethought as this note to go with Brogan’s shoes. Once the package is in the capable hands of the kind people of the United States Post Service I’ll begin to disclose my own fashion plans. All this nonsense about fashion in a family where the men wore exactly what the women told us to wear void of any independent thought. »» 302-990-2346 blog
