car towed

middle-age American living in New Jersey near the Lincoln Tunnel «« At this moment cars are being towed from the next block. After a chat and espresso purchase from the bodega owner, Victor, upon my inquiry, Victor says it will cost the owner three-hundred-cinquenta USD. I got my driver’s license four decades ago, and began driving immediately. I owned my first car a decade later, and my ¿Last? car two decades ago. The best way to be sure one’s car is not being towed is to not have a car. Like a lot of kids I got a favorable emotional reaction to riding a bicycle including but not limited to a sense of freedom. Unlike most kids my favorable emotional sense did not get overshadowed by driving. I continued to prefer bikes. All this preamble for one point. Dear kind people getting your cars tower right now: . . if you’re like me and you have (had) a car out of necessity, but you look for better times when a car is not needed, then I feel your pain. If you’re unlike me and you love cars and 350 USD is just a natural byproduct of your love affair, then . . . here’s the number for City Hall (201) 348-5700 . . . ping me for the bus number . . buon viaggio.
