middle-age American living in New Jersey near the Lincoln Tunnel «« Nathan of California rode a skateboard with a bottle of Ocean Spay and a selfie stick down a hill leaving his broken truck behind. Nathan enjoyed Fleetwood Mac Dreams as he glided along, and he was so chill he went viral boomeranging the Seventies song back on top. It was simple and Tick Toc could feel the authenticity. Dear kind readers: What’s happening here between BT and me is authentic. Egos are colliding with insults exchanged, and . . . and . . . and . . . it’s family. Authenticity, anger, insults, and family is why I have your attention when routinely my readers are a number of scattered people who give me their attention routinely and quietly. Sincerely, Tom Doody . My first-born son took his anger toward me to his grave, so I know first hand what it feels like to run out of time — BT and I might run out of time. What I want readers to know is from my side I am hurt and offended, and from his side he exposed his care toward me inadvertently. Though he could not return my calls on my daughter’s birthday he had his sister call me. His anger blocked him from reaching me directly, but he leveraged assets of a large family bound tight by our late parents to express his care for me while multitasking and expressing his contempt toward me online. Hana, my wife, was also offended by Brian insulting me, and she replied. I persuaded her to change the word opposite to opposing. She accepted, and I made no other suggestions. In childhood I attended an all-boys Catholic prep school, and our primary rival was the only other all-boys prep school on our side of Cleveland. Sometimes brothers close in age found themselves loyal to rival schools, and probably some took their adopted hatred to their graves while others were given the luxury of time, and their lives showed mutual respect and companionship. BT and I are on opposing sides of politics, and at this moment BT ranks Trump higher than me. If he really felt Trump was universally higher than family then he would not have showed he cares by giving his sister the assignment of calling me. Our late parents bound us so tightly I experience the care and love in our family any moment I pause to feel it. BT has insulted me . . . to our graves . . . ¿Maybe? family ¿Destroyed? not yet. Bill, Marylou, Helene, Martha, Charlie, and Tom left a legacy that will stand beyond the last of my generation. »» about me 302-990-2346
