can’t call it research

middle-age American living in New Jersey near the Lincoln Tunnel «« Senator Rand Paul made headlines this week in a tense exchange with Anthony Fauci. The actual exchange was much less heated than the headlines indicated. What I saw in Rand Paul is what everybody does, which is try to make reality fit one’s thinking. As a famous American once said, “you can’t call it research if you already know the answer”. Rand Paul consistently voices need for less government, and it would fit the Senator’s narrative beautifully if NYC’s hotspot had fix itself. As Anthony Fauci explained the Senator applies the same pressure repeatedly, but unfortunately Covid19 will not relent by being ignored. NYC’s public housing has been visited by me through deliveries, and even though NYC is a melting pot, the housing seems segregated with some of the buildings filled with 100% black people, and by my casual observations these residents are more compliant with masks and social distancing than other places in the city. It is also said Hacidic Jews were killed at high rates by Covid19, but I see bad compliance with masks and social distancing among the crowds of Hacidic men I saw yesterday. It’s hard to tell how NYC seems to have gotten infection and death rates down, but it’s sure not passively like Senator Rand Paul wants so desperately to believe. »» about me 302-990-2346
