BLM

middle-age American living in New Jersey near the Lincoln Tunnel «« While the images of looting and arson are bad there are consequences for looting and arson. While people will get away with crimes during protests there is a weak argument that ONE: protests turned violent TWO: protests turned looting THREE: protest turned murder FOUR: protest turned arson represent anarchy. Nobody should feel free to commit arson just because arson appears in the media without visual consequences. Checks remain in place to prevent arson, and those checks are not frighteningly limited. However, the checks on police are frighteningly limited. Arson is bad, and fires are investigated and arsonists have reason to fear consequences. Police still have an oversized protection for their crimes against black men and they continue with little reason to fear consequences. The video of George Floyd being murdered takes away the idea that police turn to violence bringing control to out-of-control settings. George was killed while cuffed with his killer in total control. The one-bad-apple argument also fails, because three fellow cops stood down or contributed to the murder in progress. Black lives matter. »» about me 302-990-2346
