Cuba gift ¿Valid?

middle-age American living in New Jersey near the Lincoln Tunnel «« Cuba is often on my mind, and I believe I’ve collected enough chance information to advise a friend who has a Havana visit planned. When the economic disparity is large an American can tip generously with what would seem to be a modest tip in the US, but it’d be nice to do more. I suggested he take one hundred packages of fifty-count floss picks to give as token gifts. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, and razors are known winners for Cuba gifts, but the floss picks can be regifted in smaller quantities, and they’re not liquid. Floss is also bad, because the long string could be seen as a problem, and confiscated by authorities. I’ve put a lot of thought into trying to simulate life for a Cuban in Cuba. I think my friend’s trip is planned for the summer, so maybe this post will have an update on the validation or invalidation of my thinking. »» about me 302-990-2346 contact
