twisted me

middle-age American living in New Jersey near the Lincoln Tunnel «« As my recreational blogging began I attracted a reader who became a serial commenter. She uses the name Erika, and I seem to have her attention best when I write about personal relationships including marriage, parenting, siblings, and being a son and son-in-law. She warned me of the trouble I might tap my way into by sibling stuff, and the trouble she warned me about has probably been realized though none of it has been presented for me to address. "Choosing sides”, which is fresh in my blog mighty have Erika thinking I’m making another risky choice by choosing sides in a prospective petty dispute. What I’m doing is like commenting to an amigo who’s trying to save his marriage: “if you divorce I’ll choose your side”. Well I’ve done it: if my sisters have trouble I’m choosing Ellen’s side. The prospective petty disputes if realized could be significant for my sisters harboring anger they take to their graves, and me, twisted me, I am smiling as I write this. I’ll tell family members probably starting with Brian, but he forgets everything, so the likelihood of him telling anyone else is low. Maybe I’ll tell Meg. Maybe I’ll just leave is passively on my blog for chance readers. btw Dear Erika: Your comments are so personally inspired that I want to be sure you know I am not attempting to solicit a comment. Above all I yield to your sentiment over my own. Sincerely, Tom Doody »» about me 302-990-2346 contact us
