vigilante sidewalk patrol

middle-age American living in New Jersey near the Lincoln Tunnel «« In Hoboken today I was confronted by another vigilante patrolling the sidewalk. He was pulling about four cases of wine into a retailer and he held the wagon across the sidewalk, so I could not pass, and he began to complain when I stopped. He was an older white man with dental problems, and he could have passed as a street sleeper if it was not for his industrious activity. I stopped and waited patiently listening to him lecture about me flipping over his cart, and I only call him a vigilante. Maybe the third verse of his lecture included, “I don’t care what you called me” and “I’m a vigilante”. My theory is pent-up anger about e scooters, and skateboards gets directed at bicyclists like me who ride the sidewalks. In addition to being stable when I put both my right and left foot flat on the ground while my ass remains in the saddle I look stable. I took this stable posture as I listened to the vigilante’s lecture. On this occasion I believe my words, posture and tone leave little room for improvement. »» about me 302-990-2346 contact us
