¿Yellow? thing

middle-age American living in New Jersey near the Lincoln Tunnel «« The yellow thing I put in social media chat pictures is made from Crayola Crayons colored plastic coin banks . . any HDPE plastic is good including milk bottles or the large oil jugs used in Chinese restaurants and bakeries. ONE: make a mold with cardboard that is slightly larger than the sunglasses I’ll store inside TWO: cover the cardboard mold with aluminum foil THREE: with oven at 350 add pieces of plastic one layer at a time to cover the mold FOUR: sometimes manual shaping is needed FIVE: turn the over off and let it cool inside the oven with the door closed. I trim with several common hardware-store cutters where the blades meet like a nail clipper and not like a scissors. The binding plastic that holds the glasses to the case is made from plastic of common grocery bags. The width of the plastic is determined by passing the plastic bag through a punched hole. The plastic is cut with increasing width, and the width where the bag stops is used to measure the width of the final binding plastic. This is the coolest part: no elastic; no springs like active-wear rain coats. »» about me 302-990-2346 contact us
