Social Conscienceness

middle-age American living in New Jersey near the Lincoln Tunnel «« I posted a comment to Brogan’s Philly Art Museum instagram pic explaining how in 2003 I noticed the hands are reversed on Social Consciousness, a bronze at the River-side entrance of the museum. Without an external alert I noticed this twist in the art, and at that time the curators and the museum quick-ref docs had nothing on the right-left-hand switch. Brogan is a cofounder and leader of @nov_project, and they have a Philly chapter . . . . it would be awesome if someone noticed this art anomaly. 2003 was an emotional and intellectual renaissance for me, and I started noticing much I had overlooked in the decade preceding 2003, so this moment was cool. On this occasion it seemed I noticed something few people had noticed on a major bronze commissioned a half-century earlier. »» about me 302-990-2346 contact us
