customer is never right

middle-age American living in New Jersey near the Lincoln Tunnel «« In the very recent archives of this blog is my account of a phone call ending in me shouting, “FU” “FU” “FU”, and it was an accurate account. I triple shouted the eff word as the caller hung up. Dear kind readers: In addition to this aforementioned text being an accurate account the following is an accurate account: I closed the sale with the caller today. Sincerely, Tom Doody. Anyone who wants to close sales should not model themselves after this account with Mr. Colombia, but there are some elements that can be reused. The old-time phrase, “the customer is always right” is passe. In addition to the customers not always being right when a sale becomes steeped in conflict the customer is rarely right. In addition salespeople should not be mistreated, and sales people should stand up for themselves. In today’s case Mr. Colombia reversed once the heat of our call ended and we resumed via txt. Mr. Colombia’s documents are now in the capable hands of the kind people of DHL, and money to pay for DHL is no longer his. »» about me 302-990-2346 contact us
