girlhood

middle-age American living in New Jersey near the Lincoln Tunnel «« A fb amiga posted this, which I reposted, so my link could be seen without a fb login. I would not have relocated the pic if it had been a personal pic of my amiga’s, but this one is safe. I commented with this link, which is a boy version of the same message. By my account one of my sisters was no longer an adult version of my big sister from childhood. I saw her with my kids and just accepted that she was, so kid focused with no place in her life for a me, an adult man. For a half decade I write her: “I’d like to call you for the holidays, but I don’t have your number ¿Help?” A half decade . . . no response. My fb amiga and all her women amigas who see this pic if they have any reaction at all it has to be good. The pic is a celebration of girlhood, which is not what I wish for my sister. Por supuesto, good news in my sister’s life is good news to me, but being reassured of her good life is not what I’m seeking. I am more selfish. I only wish to hear her voice once a year. Maybe more would happen while time remains, but my wishes are modest. Once a year let me hear her voice . . nada mas. »» about me 302-990-2346 nearlincoln@hotmail.com contact us
