middle-age American living in New Jersey near the Lincoln Tunnel «« Two negative and one positive text exchanges yesterday: ONE, TWO, THREE. Each of the three are accompanied by comingled phone conversations, and each of them is DHL. One is a woman named Mimi who I told on the phone to go someplace else, and she got in line, and we might still have her as a customer shipping a cell to her son in Nigeria. “Bless his heart” is a phrase popular in the States that once united into the Confederacy, and it’s used before saying something shitty about someone else. One of my text exchanges has a version . . . sort of . . . “I’m not trying to be a dick, but . . . “, and then the person continues with dick-like language. This person has a grandiose self image, and DHL brought it to the surface without me having to leave my boundaries of decency. The one positive exchange was an amiga in the barrio who complimented the pic of me and Hana taken from the NJT 159 bus. It was cool to get a compliment on a pic that captured a moment that felt compliment worthy. Hana and I were passing by this amigas home near New York Avenue in my barrio after the Yotel surfing movie also passing under the Hudson River via the Lincoln Tunnel. »» about me 302-990-2346 contact us
