Citibank is bad

middle-age American living in New Jersey near the Lincoln Tunnel «« Hana and I used a rented mailbox as our address, and sometimes banks insist on having our residential address, which we, por supuesto, disclose. Some event at Citibank discovered Hana’s decade-long use of the mailbox, and froze her account. She was required to visit the branch where she opened the account, and prove her address to get the account reactivated. She was at the banker’s desk at least an hour, and the supervisor was involved at least once. I sat at her side at one point when I discovered they rejected her Bloomingdale’s payroll deposit while the account was frozen. Citibank froze Hana’s account without notice and rejected her pay. Dear Citibank: Sometimes circumstances of banking disrespect one customer, but today it went much further. You netted Hana in what seems to be an institutionalized practice of screwing your customers. Sincerely, Tom Doody »» about me 302-990-2346 nearlincoln@hotmail.com contact us
