human life on earth

middle-age American living in New Jersey near the Lincoln Tunnel «« It must be assumed this planet will someday not support human life. ¿Tens? ¿Thousands? ¿Tens of thousands? of generations from now ¿What’s going to get us? The earth’s history marks mass extinctions with wild changes in the environment, and human history marks mass death with widespread disease. Today we must add a third cause for human extinction, which is war. Albert Einstein said, “I don’t know how WWIII will be fought, but WWIV will be sticks and rocks”. Einstein was smart, but he might have been overly optimistic . . . sticks and rocks if humankind is fortunate enough to survive. My preamble is to make one point . . . maybe human life is terminated by disruption in reproductivity. Zoo pros can tell us the survival of some species even in captivity with the best support leaves the future of some species in doubt, because reproduction is fragile, and there are countless examples of the fragility of human reproduction. The social side of the threat to reproduction is already set. The animals tracking to extinction are the privileged ones, because they’re getting the best resources, which is how it will work and is working today. The humans who get a scientific bump to their natural reproduction are the privileged. Dear kind readers: This text could be read as, “dark” thoughts. Please know as I thought of this post and now as I write it my process does not feel, “dark”. Sincerely, Tom Doody. SUMMARY: a combination of earth’s history, human history and realities of today say the cause of the termination of human life will fit the categories: ONE: environment TWO: biological THREE: war. »» about me 302-990-2346 nearlincoln@hotmail.com contact us
