Tomi’s brain-dead followers

middle-age American living in New Jersey near the Lincoln Tunnel «« Tomi Lahren is like John Oliver and Seth Meyers in that all three of them have current gigs weaving together news to be entertaining. All three of these people make the news more entertaining and more memorable. Each of them bias the news either liberal or conservative, and each of them bias the news for the purpose of humor and entertainment. This is one of the many reasons these types of programs are good: Seth Meyers, who is Jewish, mocks Trump for sounding like a Jewish mother trying desperately to get her son hookedup, “Call Sean Hannity” was the punchline Trump provided again and again. I was able to get to this point with Adam who is Jewish, and both of know from personal experience that this overly-pushy Jewish mother trying to get her son to hookedup is a real thing, and for the moment we shared on the punchline it was both entertaining and unifying — awesome this is what keeps friendships fresh. I claim to be prepared to realize I’ve accepted a version of the news that’s not as accurate as it could be, because of the entertaining spin put on it by Seth and John. The followers of Tomi don’t seem to have the same expectations of themselves. I read a bundle of facebook comments and it appears her massive following digests her spin and falsehoods seeming to say, “more please”. Tomi’s followers never seems to questions, “¿True? ¿Accurate? Instead they only ask themselves, ¿Agreeable? For example, Tomi says Hillary was out of place to press Birtherism in the debate, because to Tomi Birtherism was started by Hillary and ended by Trump. Dear kind readers: If you accept Tomi’s all-you-need-to-know version of Birtherism, then I predict you cannot be swayed. By accepting Tomi’s version you are abdicating your role in this democracy by not allowing your brain to guide you. Sincerely, Tom Doody »» about me 302-990-2346 nearlincoln@hotmail.com contact us
