¿Trump? blame Anita Bryant

middle-age American living in New Jersey near the Lincoln Tunnel «« The Republican Party can be accused of many faults, but with this text I will only fault Republican leadership with overlooking sentiment of its constituents.  Anita Bryant in the Seventies can be heard saying again and again: “a reformed killer can be a xmurderer, so homosexuals can repent and become xhomosexuals”.  Dear kind readers: Please take a moment and consider the extreme error in Anita’s message.  Two men do something in private giving one another consent and involve only each other — Anita compares this to: ¿Murder?  Sincerely, Tom Doody.  Anita can be considered a leader of a historic movement that hijacked the conservative political power into extremism under the banner of Christianity.  Homosexuals got the right to have their unions recognized as marriage in 2015, and the very next election no one it talking about taking anything away from gays, which is a win for homosexuals and a win for the Nation.  This Nation has replied in mass to Anita: “what two men consent to in private that involves nobody else is not a public issue”.  Anita’s message was the beginning of how extreme Christianity hijacked the Republican Party, and in the years leading up to the 2015 gay-marriage landmark Republican leadership found themselves pushing against gays, which exposed a disconnect with its constituency.  The Party was positioned for another hijack in the name of Trump. »»  about me  302-990-2346  twitter  nearlincoln@hotmail.com  contact us
