Republican ID crisis

middle-age American living in New Jersey near the Lincoln Tunnel «« American conservatives have an identity crisis: ONE: Trump is the conservative nominee and many party leaders claim he’s not a true conservative  TWO: American conservatives created the Tea Party, because, “Republican” was not flattering enough  THREE: Conservatives voice toxic messages for gays, Muslims, gun-control people, Latinos, and Blacks excluding prospective members.  @nero is gay and he articulates how he is a political conservative.  @nero is supporting Trump and in turn supporting the nominee of a party that systematically creates political pressure creating negative outcomes for gays.  @nero is not dissuaded he has an exclusion list of his own including lesbians, fat people, ugly people, and Muslims.  Conservative and liberals are the two major subsets of political movement.  The Republican Party can’t find the core meaning of being conservative, which forces them to systematically exclude prospective members.  Dear kind readers: In the following text I will define what it is to be a conservative.  If the Republican Party would adopt my message as their mission, then the Republican Party identity crisis would move toward its end.  Sincerely, Tom Doody.  Michelle Obama within a DNC convention speech said, “Barack did not close the door behind him” implicating an open door of opportunity to all Americans.  The conservative message is in contrast to Michelle’s, because conservatives want success to come at a price as it did for them.  Nobody gets a free ride.  If a conservative worked for success he or she does not want others to achieve success without work.  The identity crisis of the Republican Party begins when conservatives want to see others earn like they have.  “Like they have” morphs into, “like them” making the Republican Party the party of exclusion.  The Republican party has the power to move toward ending its identity crisis by defining what it is to be conservative, and articulate a message consistently attractive to conservatives without being unattractive to conservatives within groups of prospective members like Latinos and gays.           »»  about me  302-990-2346  twitter  nearlincoln@hotmail.com  contact us
