Britain’s illegal workers

middle-age American living in New Jersey near the Lincoln Tunnel «« Regulations in Brazil allowed my wife to travel there with her EU passport, but I needed a visa, so in the days before our January 2016 departure I left the overflow line in NYC, and got my visa in Connecticut.  In effect Brazil is saying with its regulations that it wants Europeans to visit more than Americans, but that does not match Brazil sentiment as I sensed it.  Brazil’s regulations don’t perfectly match Brazils best interest.  EU membership meant Polish workers could work in Britain without a visa.  Effectively the EU agreement was like Brazil’s agreement that allowed Hana to visit without a visa.  Polish are allowed to work in the UK without a visa, but the future is in question.  Britain voting to leave makes the work visa of Polish and other people working in Britain of questionable status.  Britain now has a lot of people working in Britain with questionable status.  ¿Will Britain honor the EU status long term, short term, or not at all?  Time will tell. »»  about me  302-990-2346  twitter  nearlincoln@hotmail.com  contact us
