middle-age American living in New Jersey near the Lincoln Tunnel «« I was inspired to record: #1americanlooksinthemirror for the fourteenth time on Christmas day. The inspiration came from news reports of how Japan’s sex enslavement of Korean women during the first decades of the twentieth century continues to cause problems. Later Christmas day I got additional inspiration from Michael Moore’s latest movie. Michael visited Germany and featured how Germany has formally reconciled with the Nazi movement and how Germans turned against their fellow Germans and systematically killed them because they were Jewish. MIchael showed how the Nazi movement is told in school textbooks. I viewed MIchael’s highlighting of Germany’s reconciliation with the Nazi movement and systematic murder of fellow Germans as endorsement of #1americanlooksinthemirror. For better or worse Michael’s films have become pop entertainment, and sometimes his call to action gets lost in his Michael-Moore humor, but on the occasion of Michael’s visit to Germany I feel I have extracted his call to action, and I’m set to begin to solicit a direct endorsement from Michael via twitter — and — por supuesto — I’ll convert my inspiration for the fourteenth #1americanlooksinthemirror soon — maybe hoy. »» about me 302-990-2346 twitter nearlincoln@hotmail.com contact us
