middle-age American living in New Jersey near the Lincoln Tunnel «« This morning I posted about foul language on twitter.  It came from two profiles directed to me as insults.  My editorial is not: ONE: I’m the kind of person  TWO: I don’t let it bother me  THREE: I’m wounded  FOUR: twitter needs to block the trolls  My editorial is: the two profiles claim to be young people modern and socially open in their thinking.  Their irony is as soon the exchange between strangers gets a little weird they each blocked me.  I am a middle-age man who is tired of hearing young people get credit for being more open and more adventurous online.  I assume the two people who hair-trigger blocked me are between the age of twenty-five and thirty-five.  When I was that age I would have been less war-ready to engage on twitter the way I do and do again.  I’m human and sometime I have to give twitter a rest, but I recharge and resume in a way I would not have been able to do before my middle-age years.  If the people who blocked me knew who Mike Huckabee is and what he stands for they would be and should be insulted by being compared to Huckabee.  Huckabee wants his world smaller.  One book: the bible (let’s keep it simple) one type of associations: Christians.  The people who blocked me want their world small too, and if they were credited for being open and adventurous online I can present evidence to the contrary. »» about me  302-990-2346  twitter  nearlincoln@hotmail.com  contact us
