Facing challenges alone?

middle-age American living in New Jersey near the Lincoln Tunnel «« Dear Kevin: My teenage son has one more opportunity to improve his grade in Mr. Stom’s class according to powerschool, his online attendance and grade system.  In a one-to-one message I sent you his weekly marks, and you can see 6/6/2013 is his final chance of the semester to improve his grade.  About the time you and I talked on the phone he was earning the “A” you can see as his most recent mark, so it may be best to leave it in his capable hands, but I prefer to have someone in the family let him know he is not facing this challenge alone, and his behavior to date indicates he will be sure that person is not me.  You have never given me reason that you doubt this, but I feel the need to write it: I have not surrendered.  He gets letters, and frequent calls from me.  I don’t know what more to do.  Can you help?  Yours in New Jersey near the Lincoln Tunnel, Tommy »» about me 201-490-9659 Hana Miyajima nearlincoln@hotmail.com contact us
