older black Cuban men

middle-age American living in New Jersey near the Lincoln Tunnel «« Personal observation, sin research, I make two statements: ONE: it seems black Cubans and white Cubans have not intermarried over the centuries like one-love Jamaica.  A relatively short distance apart in the Caribbean one island’s people are all black and the other island’s are both black and white  TWO: black Cubans and white Cubans integrate socially in a natural comfortable way that I, find noteworthy.  The trigger of this post is a handsome older black Cuban man who breezed into La Gran Via moments ago and charmed me and the woman behind the counter.  I, like most people I assume, look at others with a trace of wistful thinking, “I wish I were more like him (her for women)”, and specifically for years my two follow: ONE: my brother-in-law is number one.  His god-given good looks makes him a handsome Asian man with Italian styling, and his professional success build on his god-given creativity gives him a stronghold on my one slot.  TWO: black Cubans, global pop culture shows this wistful thinking around the world leaves people wishing they were black Americans with evidence including the low pants on men in Asia and Africa, and the crazy popularity of the NBA – even the dear leader of North Korea is a fan who likes one of the famous bad-boys of the NBA, Dennis Rodman, who made himself famous by giving his fans reason not to like him.  The older black Cuban men are cool, and my warm greeting and knuckle bump with the handsome black Cuban man who exited La Gran Via moments ago has me smiling.  Dear kind readers: Today is Good Friday or Viernes Santo, and there is no traditional greeting given the dark-natured occasion of Christ’s crucificion.  My your own version of sanctity and holiness be with you on this special day.  Sincerely, Tom Doody »» about me 201-490-9659 Randi Richards -nearlincoln@hotmail.com contact us
