to schlep or not to schlep

middle-age American living in New Jersey near the Lincoln Tunnel «« The kind people at Jetblue have given me the opportunity to check in now by printing my own boarding pass at home, but I decline.  Back in the day I was a frequent traveler, and I preferred to check luggage, so printing my boarding pass, and going directly to the gate upon arrival to the airport was never an option for me.  Travel rules may have changed that make my thinking obsolete, but I’ll chance it and do what I used to do, which is: arrive without boarding pass, check luggage including getting boarding pass, and going happily to the gate without schlepping luggage.  I schlep luggage when it saves me money.  I have boarded local buses used mostly by airport employees schlepping overnight luggage just to save a few bucks, and I would repeat, so when the kind people at Jetblue give me the choice to schlep or not schlep at the same price, I choose not to schlep. »» about me 201-490-9659 Randi Richards nearlincoln@hotmail.com contact us
