complete and peaceful Christmas

middle-age American living in New Jersey near the Lincoln Tunnel «« This was my first social media Christmas.  Prior to this year I cannot remember social media making any useful replacements of holiday happenings, but this year with the cooperation of my sister I learned my mother was with my sister in Milwaukee, which was a major positive compared to the empty feeling of, “Where’s mama?” on Christmas.  The subtle difference between me posting on facebook that I was seeking my mother’s holiday plans felt better than email.  Using email I can imagine writing siblings, who I have little reason to believe my presence in their lives is welcome and invited, and having my email in their inbox would have felt as though I had arrived uninvited.  My first social media Christmas set the stage for Christmas to feel complete and peaceful – amen alleluia »» about me 201-490-9659 we come in peace, nearlincoln@hotmail.com contact us
