online and personal

middle-age American living in New Jersey near the Lincoln Tunnel «« Dear Landon: In a chance conversation with Toni who sits at a Dunkin Donuts table near the one that holds my keyboard, I found myself selling you.  Toni is a professional hand knitter, and she is not elderly.  She is not yet thirty.  Wow, she has a long future in professional hand knitting, so she is not only the first professional hand knitter I’ve known, but she is at least four decades younger than any professional hand knitter I would imagine if I had pressed myself to put a face to this title.  I found myself selling you, and how you give of yourself generously in surviving overeating on blogspot.  Each time a reader returns to your blog he or she is saying I want more of Landon Eason, and it is easy for me to imagine you attracting more readers, and naturally leverage some of those readers into jewelry sales.  Toni stays offline, because she wants to keep her business personalized, but you show how an online presence can be very personal.  I know you have declined my help, and Adam has tried to get you to consider an alternative, and that is where we’ve stalled.  I don’t know if you would consider additional communication with me or Adam on this subject – I wish you would.  Can you help?  Sincerely,  Tom Doody.  »» about me, 201-490-9659, we come in peace,
