muggle pedicabber

middle-age American living in New Jersey near the Lincoln Tunnel <<< Dear Jennifer:  I remember you and the trip well.  I got you from the back of the line at PABT, and even though the regular-cab line was short your arrival-time advantage went to pedicab.  I knew it and somehow you knew it – muy bueno.  The Lincoln Tunnel had been clogged for hours causing your time pressure and the overflow traffic that diverted us onto the New York Times sidewalk and down 40th Street, which was closed to traffic, so from grid lock to open pavement in about two minutes.  I am glad to hear of your about face on pedicabs, and I am also glad you were in time for dinner.  I also want you to know my pedicab performance neared Harry Potter abilities, but most of the time I am just a muggle, and my trips are usually less charmed.  The golf store staff says nice things about me when someone says I had a hand in their visit, so I hope your dad redeems one of his gift cards in person.  The pedicab service was my pleasure – you’re welcome.  Sincerely,  Tom Doody >>> about me, since public speaking, and posting internet comments are two things people fear, I created an email account for readers to use for anonymous comments: gmail, username: anonymous2tomdoody, password: anonymous123
