bravo to the Federal judge

middle-age American living in New Jersey near the Lincoln Tunnel — They have to be my next passengers as I looked at a dad sized for the NFL, and a very cute two-year-old daughter and wife/mother fashioned to fit among NFL wives, and luggage for a week.  Their immediate response seemed to say, “why not?”.  Not just one with a moment to convince the other, but in unison they understood the service I was offering even though my trike was across Eighth Avenue (their Chicago home may have helped them visualize).  They trusted me immediately that I could handle the load.  With other multiple parties with luggage I am usually assuring them every block, “it’s easy”, and thirty other versions of the same message.  Saying ciao at Hilton New York, luggage on the bell cart, child in the hands of dad, and the ginkgo leaf in the hands of mother as she got out of my cab.  She didn’t even leave the ginkgo leaf behind.  This nice family is sure to extract all the pleasure New York can offer, and their visit started with me.  Bravo to the dad’s cousin who is to become a federal judge.
