Euphronios

Burgers, Bagels and Burritos is the successor of Sancochos as 49th and Bergenline in Union City, New Jersey. Ephronios is the name of a Greek or Roman artist who made a pot that became the center of a Metropolitan Museum of Art contraversy in the 1960s according to Michael Gross in his book Rogues’ Gallery. The pot was obtained illegally by the Met, and it was New York Times front page news for ten consecutive days, which shows how contraversy can fuel publicity, because the same pot going on display in the museum without challenged methods would only have had a single minor mention in the paper.
