Merry Christmas

It’s Christmas day, and I just returned home from Food Bazaar with my wife. Upon reaching double digit Holiday phone calls to my Uncle Joe’s place in Siesta Key, Sarasota, Florida YES, my mother answered making my Christmas complete. Parents and brother-in-law in Italy who can be reached with good predictability and my 1996 born son whose access cannot be predicted were both good. Also, Brad Higginson in Minnesota, Brian and Kevin Twohey in California via voice, and Drew Forhan via text. Maura, Diego, Ellen, Adam and Suzanne each shares a slice of Christmas with my wife and me. For Christmas dinner: troata entera al forneo is the Itallian spelling, but I am imagining duplicating the Cuban preparation I enjoy so much from Las Plamas, West New York, New Jersey. Feliz Navidad, Buon Natale, Merry Christmas. The Pope called for peace from his home today — good.
