Don’t you’all have money?

My wife and I are on megabus headed for DC. During the hour between scheduled departure and departure we stood with a multi-bus-sized crowd on a unlighted sidewalk behind the Penn-Station Post Office on Ninth Avenue, Manhattan, NY. This efficient British bus company avoids the cost and traveler fatigue caused by dirty and dark bus stations by having no bus stations. Instead there is a megabus employee with a new reflective jacket and a mega phone with mega embroidered in gold on his blue cargo pants. He was funny and entertaining, and kept our crowd lined near the curb separated from the people waiting for the Boston bus. We’ll arrive in DC after five in the morning. After an overnight bus trip, and a short cab ride, so rest at the Beacon we are now in the restaurant for a holiday mean. Happy Thanksgiving.
